how to style a jumpsuit: daytime cool

Hey dolls! I'm glad to report that my search for a suitable jumpsuit has finally come to an end after months and months of searching. I stumbled upon this lovely Asos petite jumpsuit on Depop and I simply had to snatch it up. I absolutely love it's sleek simplicity and it's high waist which is so flattering not to mention the lovely open back and cut-out side detailing; so much awesomeness in one ensemble I just can't take it! I've styled this outfit two ways for you guys and this is just part 1 of my "how to style a jumpsuit" mini series.

Jumpsuit - Asos via Depop (alternative) | Converse - JD Sports | Coat - Primark (similar) | Bag - New Look (alternative) | Sunglasses - George @ Asda (similar)

For this outfit I kept it simple and just paired the jumpsuit with some turquoise converse trainers and frilly socks for a pop of colour and a playful edge. I also covered up for this blistering coat with this amazing pastel pink cocoon coat which I picked up in the Primark sale for a tenner! It's about 3 sizes too big for me but I think it works and I absolutely love it! It's so warm and the quality is amazing for Primark. Also can we take a minute to acknowledge that I'm actually injecting some colour into my outfits, I'm so proud of me!
