I feel like for most of the year I tend to wear very monochromatic looks which consist mainly of black, white and denim but when the summer comes around I get a little bit more daring and bold and reach for more colour and prints when putting together outfits. This summer more so than any other I've really been finding myself gravitating towards a lot of bold colours, prints and hence today's outfit featuring this cute bell sleeve dress in a bold rich burgundy colour.
I initially wanted this dress in black (surprise surprise) but after not being able to get hold of the black one in my size I settled for this stunning colour and I'm actually glad I went for it because 1. I think it really suits my skin-tone and 2. It's a great colour for the summer but still quite subdued. The lace up detail and the bell sleeves on this number also add just enough detail needed to break up the solid colour whilst still keeping the dress on trend and flirty. I love super cute shift dresses like these because the styling can be kept super simple or can be turned up a notch depending on the mood or occassion. On this particular day I wore the dress with my thigh high boots from Lamoda but this dress is super versatile and can be worn with some gladiator sandals for a relaxed look or even with a pair of converse high tops if you're feeling a little edgy. I like how this look turned out and I am really feeling and embracing colour this season and can't wait to inject more of it on the blog for you guys. Hope you enjoyed! Talk soon x

I absolutely love this dress Natasha! It’s so funny because I’ve been reading how so many bloggers feel the same about bright colors and the warm weather lol. During the winter I definitely stick to my fashion neutrals, but during the summer I am all about trying new colors. These boots are love!
