Stripes & Smiles

Stripes are definitely a wardrobe staple; they make any item look instantly chic and can also do wonders for your body shape depending on what type of stripes they are. I just had to pick this Fearne stripe cold shoulder playsuit for part 2 of my collab with PreLoved Boutique when I saw it (check out part 1 here), I love the v-shaped neckline, the colour combination of stripes and of course the cold shoulder detail which is bang on trend this summer.

This playsuit is the perfect versatile summer piece that can be dressed for day or night. For this post, the styling can work for either and I paired it with my brand new wrap up heels from Ego which have a perspex heel; another big trend this season. If you wish to dress down this playsuit even more I'd suggest layering a plain white tee under it and styling with some plain plimsoles or some cute wrap up espadrilles and for night I would go a little extra killer heels or a patent ankle boot for some sass. Can you guys see that I was particularly smiley on this shoot? I usually don't like smiling on shoots because I feel like it makes me look goofy and super young but on this day I couldn't help myself.
