Perfect Summer Dress With Izabel London (Part 2)

01/08/2017

Summer dresses are probably my favourite summer fashion item. The light fabrics, interesting prints and diverse hemlines; what isn't there to love? They're easy and breezy and help to get you into that summer spirit, even when you live in dreary old England. I love Izabel London for their fabulous quality, feminine cuts and variety to suit all tastes and shapes. I am already the proud owner of one of their fabulous maxi dresses which you may have seen in part 1 of my Perfect Summer Dress with Izabel London series. I had to do a part 2 because Izabel London were so happy with the first post I did and offered to send me another dress from their website which turned out being equally as perfect as the first one.

For part 2 I traded in a long hemline for a shorter one and opted for this amazing off the shoulder number. Not only do I love the colour and print but I also love the off-the-shoulder detail which you guys know I'm a huge fan of. There's just something a little bit sexy about a little bit of shoulder cleavage. Yes shoulder cleavage is totally a thing guys and if it's not it should be!

*Dress - Izabel London (now in sale)
*Shoes - Just Fab UK
Bag - Glamorous via Asos
Rings - Primark (Similar stack)

For styling I kept things super simple and added  my black suede mules. This kept the colour palette uniform and seamless and I thought it would be great to inject a little colour, fun and character into the outfit with my Glamorous bucket bag. I also added some silver stacking rings from primark because I just love how stacking rings look and I must say I love how the look turned out. I love that it has some personality despite the dark colour of the dress and shoes. This look is perfect for a hot summers day and by swapping out the heels with some sandals this look would be perfect for a holiday too.

How would you guys style this dress for a daytime look?

I hope you guys enjoyed this quick post and I hope that you may forgive me for it being so short. I've had a busy few weeks as I'm off to my home country of Zambia soon and it's been stressful getting everything sorted. My blog has somewhat become less of a priority with all the stuff I have to sort out and even though I have so much pre-shot content for you guys. It's been harder than I anticipated to find the time to sit down and write posts for you guys. Nevertheless, I still aim to make sure I get at least one post out to you guys every week even while I'm away so don't disappear. Also if you're not already following me on Instagram I'd suggest doing so because I will be updating more on there and will be documenting my trip. Don't miss out!
