Black & Navy

Hey dolls! So I'm sure we've all heard that old fashioned rule which states that black and navy shouldn't be worn together right? For a long time I actually followed this rule and thought mixing black and navy was a fashion faux pas but rules are meant to be broken and as a fashion rebel I chose to mix a navy blue crepe cami with my black leather runner shorts and I actually liked the end result. I kept the accessories quite minimal and within the colour palette withsome black lace up sandals, a black faux leather clutch, a silver choker and some leopard print cat-eye sunnies! I'm sure you can tell this little shoot was an impromptu one but I do hope you guys like it nonetheless. what are some fashion rules that you think should be broken? Toodles!

When did this rule come up! Omg I just love the combination of navy and black and cannot imagine how it could not work! Your outfit is a clear sign of that! You look amazing! I think fashion is taking a great direction and old rules are fast becoming non-existent. It's refreshing to see how fashion is interpreted in so many different ways, these days.
