Blue Velvet

So you guys may or may not know that I've been getting into some festive party styling on the blog lately. I was inspired by the amount of events that go on this type of year and I thought; why not get involved!? I've already styled a girls night out look in my Party Vibes With Boohoo post and for today's look I thought I'd try a hand at styling something more appropriate for a work or family Christmas do with this stunning velvet number from Zaful. I mean how regal and stunning is this amazing cami dress? It's just the right length and has the right amount of sex appeal with thin spaghetti straps and a side slit and I think it would work wonderfully for a work or family function. For styling I thought I'd keep it super simple and add my new favourite boots from boohoo which are comfortable enough for a night of dancing but still a great statement piece that elevated the outfit. Granted this style of footwear may not be to everyone's taste so if you prefer a nice pair of heels I suggest adding a barely there sandal or a pointed court shoe. I just love how this look turned out and that I created a stunning eye catching outfit with just two items. Simple, sexy, sophisticated and party ready. Do you agree?
